The Nectre MK2 Wood Heater is beautifully compact but yet powerful enough to heat a medium size living area. With a choice of freestanding legs or a pedestal base, your Mk2 fireplace will perfectly complement any space and design. The powerful Nectre Mk2 is a simple but elegant radiant/convection heater that circulates warmth effectively throughout any living area with or without a fan.
Although the Nectre Mk2 Wood Heater can have a fan added to it, with or without it pushes out an impressive peak 20kW. It has the same simple but elegant lines as do all Nectres but it is double cased so it can be installed closer to walls and furniture.
The Nectre Mk2 has a black metallic paint finish and comes with a cast iron door with ceramic glass and a stay cool spring handle. Steel baffle with steel brick retainer and firebrick lining to improve thermal mass. The Mk2 fires release their heat through a combination of heat radiation, which slowly spreads throughout the area and heats objects in the living space, and convection, which warms and circulates the air within the living space creating the sensate of a natural warm breeze. It is excellent for feeling the heat of the flame and warming the surrounding living space.
