The Morso 6612 Wood Heater sets entirely new standards and captivates onlookers with a surprising elegance and lightness. What’s more, the view of the flames is bigger than it has ever been before. The stoves elliptical shape is complimented by a unique double door maximising the glass area. This provides a spectacular 180 degree view of the flames. The beautiful view of the flames is further enhanced by the gold tinted vermiculite that, like the stoves internal background view, is decorated with the legendary Morsø squirrel on the baffle – proof that this is a genuine Morsø stove. Danish design has been delighting the world for many years now. With a look and feel that is distinctive to Denmark, the country’s architects and designers have placed Morso on the map, to the point that in 1915 they received the coveted title of Purveyor to the Royal Court. Morsø craftsmen produce the finest stoves in the world, and their name has been synonymous with quality since April 1853. Their craftsman have worked hard to combine their long tradition with modern innovations, and the 6612 is a convincing example of this.

The Morso 6612 Wood Heater was created with the concept of wanting something more then just a functional heating appliance, they wanted a challenging interpretation of style and function, and to set new standards that captivates the viewer with a surprising elegance. The convector stoves artistic expression sets it apart from the crowd. Its combination of cast-iron, glass and its elliptical shape is complimented by a unique double door maximising the glass area, and providing a 180-degree view of the flames. This is then further enhanced by gold tinted vermiculite bricks decorated with the Morsø squirrel, and stylish slim teak wooden legs. Behind the glass Morsø has an improved air supply, better insulation chamber and has developed a combustion technology that uses preheated air to ensure a higher temperature in the firebox, so that almost all the flue gases are burnt, which results in both a more environmentally friendly combustion and better fuel economy. Danish design has been delighting the world for many years, and the architects and designers at Morso have made Danish design a real talking point. In 1915 Morso received the honour of being appointed to the Royal Danish Court. This prestigious appointment means that the products produced are held to the highest standards of quality
